Foundation Anchor Bolts

Foundation Anchor Bolts are designed to securely fasten steel structures, machinery, equipment, columns, base plates, and other components to concrete foundations. Available in different configurations, including L-type, J-type, and other bent or hooked designs, these anchor bolts provide reliable mechanical anchorage through their embedded sections while the threaded ends allow components to be securely fixed with nuts and washers.

Our foundation anchor bolts are manufactured according to widely used dimensional standards, including DIN 529, JIS B 1178, and ASME B18.31.5. We supply carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel anchor bolts in metric and inch sizes, with plain, zinc-plated, hot-dip galvanized, and other surface finishes. Standard and custom dimensions, thread lengths, bend dimensions, materials, grades, and coatings are available according to project requirements and engineering drawings.

Dimension Standard:

Our foundation anchor bolts are available in various configurations and dimensions to meet different structural, construction, and equipment anchoring requirements. Standard dimensions are available according to widely recognized DIN, JIS, and ASME specifications, covering key parameters such as nominal diameter, thread length, overall length, embedded length, bend or hook dimensions, and bend radius.

The following table summarizes the main dimensional standards available for our foundation anchor bolts. In addition to standard sizes, we can manufacture custom anchor bolts with specific diameters, lengths, thread dimensions, bend configurations, and other requirements according to customer drawings and project specifications.

Mechanical Proeprty:

The mechanical properties of hex bolts vary depending on the material, grade, and applicable fastener standard. We manufacture hex bolts in carbon steel and stainless steel, including SS304 bolts and SS316 bolts, with mechanical properties specified according to internationally recognized standards such as ISO 898-1, SAE J429, ISO 3506-1, ASTM F593, ASTM A193, and ASTM A307. For stainless steel hex bolts, SS304 and SS316 are commonly specified under ISO 3506-1 or ASTM F593, while carbon steel and alloy steel hex bolts are covered by standards such as ISO 898-1, SAE J429, ASTM A193, and ASTM A307. The table below summarizes the main strength grades and mechanical property requirements available for different types of hex bolts.

Application of foundation anchor bolts:

Foundation anchor bolts are used to secure structural components, steel assemblies, machinery, equipment, and support systems to concrete foundations. The choice of anchor bolt configuration, material, size, and surface finish depends on the load requirements, installation conditions, and service environment. Our DIN 529, JIS B 1178, and ASME B18.31.5 foundation anchor bolts are suitable for a wide range of construction and industrial applications.

Structural & Construction Applications

Foundation anchor bolts are commonly used to secure steel columns, structural frames, base plates, steel supports, guardrails, handrails, and other structural components to concrete foundations. L-type and J-type configurations provide an embedded section within the concrete while the threaded end allows nuts and washers to secure the connected components. Carbon steel anchor bolts are suitable for general structural applications, while hot-dip galvanized finishes provide improved corrosion resistance for outdoor and exposed installations.

Machinery & Equipment Foundations

Foundation anchor bolts are widely used for installing machinery and industrial equipment on concrete foundations, including pumps, motors, generators, compressors, production equipment, and support frames. Properly selected anchor bolt dimensions help provide stable mechanical anchorage and maintain the position of equipment during operation. Custom anchor bolts can be manufactured with specific thread lengths, embedded lengths, bend dimensions, and overall lengths according to equipment foundation drawings.

Outdoor, Corrosive & Stainless Steel Applications

For applications exposed to moisture, weather, chemicals, or other corrosive conditions, stainless steel and corrosion-resistant surface finishes can provide enhanced durability. SS304 anchor bolts are suitable for many outdoor structures, architectural installations, equipment supports, and general industrial environments. SS316 anchor bolts offer improved resistance to chloride-containing and aggressive environments and are commonly selected for coastal structures, marine applications, chemical processing equipment, wastewater facilities, and other demanding service conditions.
