Countersunk Head Torx Screw

Countersunk Head Torx Screws are designed with a flat countersunk head and a six-lobe Torx drive, allowing the screw head to sit flush or slightly below the surface of the assembled component. The Torx drive provides a positive engagement between the tool and the screw, helping to reduce cam-out and allowing higher torque to be applied during installation compared with conventional slotted or Phillips drives. This makes them suitable for applications where a clean surface finish, reliable fastening and consistent installation are important.

We manufacture countersunk head Torx screws in a range of metric and inch sizes, thread configurations and materials to meet different application requirements. Depending on the size and specification, production can include multi-station cold heading, thread rolling, heat treatment and surface finishing. We can also produce screws according to applicable dimensional standards and customer drawings, with dimensional inspection, thread gauging and mechanical property checks carried out during production.

Dimension Standard

ISO 14581 – Countersunk Torx Screws

ISO 14581 specifies the dimensional requirements for countersunk screws with a hexalobular (Torx) drive. The standard covers key dimensions of the screw head and drive, providing consistent geometry for metric applications. We can manufacture Countersunk Torx Screws according to ISO 14581 in different metric sizes and lengths.

ASME B18.3 – Countersunk Torx Screws

ASME B18.3 provides dimensional requirements for socket screw products used in inch-series applications. Countersunk Torx Screws manufactured to the applicable requirements feature a recessed six-lobe drive and countersunk head for flush installation. Inch sizes and other dimensions can also be produced according to customer drawings when required.
