Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screws
Hexagon socket head cap screws feature a cylindrical head with an internal hexagon socket, providing a compact fastening solution for applications where installation space is limited. The recessed socket allows the screws to be installed with a hex key while providing reliable clamping force and a clean, low-profile appearance.
We supply hexagon socket head cap screws in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, with metric and inch threads in a wide range of sizes and lengths. Dimensions can be manufactured according to applicable standards such as DIN 912, ISO 4762, and ASME B18.3, while material and mechanical requirements can be specified according to standards such as ASTM A574 and ASTM F837. Production includes cold heading, socket forming, thread rolling, heat treatment, surface finishing, and final inspection.

Manufacturing Process
Wire Drawing
Steel wire is prepared according to the required material, diameter, and product specification. The material is inspected before forming to ensure consistent production.
Cold Heading and Socket Forming
Multi-station cold heading equipment forms the cylindrical head and internal hexagon socket with controlled dimensions. The forming process provides consistent head geometry and socket accuracy.
Thread Rolling and Heat Treatment
Threads are formed by rolling to achieve accurate thread profiles and a consistent surface finish. Carbon and alloy steel screws are heat treated to obtain the required mechanical properties.
Surface Finishing and Final Inspection
Depending on the application, screws can be supplied with plain, black oxide, zinc-plated, zinc-flake, or other specified finishes. Finished screws are inspected for dimensions, threads, socket size, surface condition, and applicable mechanical properties.
