Torx Socket Cap Head Screws
Torx socket cap head screws feature a cylindrical head with an internal six-lobe drive, combining the compact design of a socket head cap screw with the positive engagement of a Torx drive. The six-lobe profile provides stable contact between the screw and driving tool, helping reduce slipping and allowing torque to be transmitted efficiently during installation. The cylindrical head provides a relatively large bearing surface while requiring limited installation space around the fastener. Metric and inch sizes are available in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, with different thread specifications, drive sizes, and surface finishes available according to the applicable standard or customer drawing.
We manufacture Torx socket cap head screws using multi-station cold heading and precision thread rolling equipment. The cold heading process forms the cylindrical head and prepares the internal drive feature, while thread rolling produces consistent external threads with controlled dimensions and thread accuracy. Production parameters are adjusted according to the screw size, material, thread specification, and Torx drive configuration, with dimensional, thread, drive, and mechanical requirements checked during production and final inspection.
