Application of DIN6797J Internal Teeth Lock Washers:

DIN 6797J Internal Teeth Lock Washers are particularly useful in assemblies where the fastener head is relatively small and the locking element needs to stay within the washer’s outer diameter. For example, Ø1.6–Ø5 mm washers can be used beneath small screws in PCB terminal blocks, miniature switches, sensors, encoder housings, and electronic control modules. Ø6–Ø12 mm sizes are suitable for fastening covers and components in electric motors, solenoid valves, gear reducers, small pumps, and control equipment, where vibration can cause conventional screw connections to loosen. Larger sizes from Ø14–Ø30 mm can be used with larger bolts in motor mounting assemblies, pump housings, agricultural machinery controls, machine-tool guards, and industrial equipment panels.

The 65Mn spring steel version, with a typical hardness of around 300 HV, is suited to mechanical and electrical assemblies where the washer must maintain its tooth profile under normal tightening and service conditions. It can be used beneath fasteners on motor terminal boxes, electrical control cabinets, actuator housings, sensor mounting systems, and machinery panels. Stainless steel versions are better suited to applications where the locking function must be combined with corrosion resistance, such as outdoor instrumentation, food-processing equipment, marine electrical enclosures, and moisture-exposed control systems.
