DIN933 Hex Head Bolts

DIN 933 is the traditional German standard for metric full-threaded hex head bolts, which specifies the basic dimensions of the bolts, the size of the hex heads, and the requirements for metric threads, etc. The bolts in DIN 933 have a full thread, so they are suitable for bolt connections that require a longer effective thread engagement. DIN 933 defines the dimensions and structure of the bolts, but the materials and mechanical properties need to refer to the corresponding material standards. For carbon steel and alloy steel DIN 933 bolts, the performance grades such as 8.8, 10.9 can be determined according to ISO 898-1. For stainless steel DIN 933 bolts, the performance grades such as A2-70, A2-80, A4-70, and A4-80 can be adopted according to ISO 3506-1.

Our Ningbo Teng Qi Fasteners Co.,Ltd is equipped with professional production equipment such as multi-station cold heading machines, hot forging equipment, thread rolling machines, CNC machines, and heat treatment lines. We can produce DIN 933 hexagonal bolts ranging from M1.6 to M100, covering various materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. For different specifications and materials, we can adopt processes such as cold heading, red forging, thread rolling, CNC machining, and heat treatment to meet different strength grades and size requirements.

Mechanical Proeperty:

During the production process, we control the raw materials, dimensions, threads, mechanical properties, and surface treatment accordingly to ensure that the DIN 933 bolts meet the material standards, mechanical performance requirements, and surface coating requirements specified by the customers. For different materials and performance grades, we will select appropriate forming, heat treatment, and surface treatment processes based on the specific specifications.

ISO 898-1 High-Strength Hex Bolts

For carbon steel and alloy steel DIN 933 hex bolts, we offer high-strength grades manufactured and tested according to ISO 898-1. Common grades include 8.8 and 10.9, providing different levels of tensile strength and proof load to suit applications where higher mechanical performance is required. The selected grade can be matched to the bolt size, joint requirements, and service conditions.

ISO 3506-1 Stainless Steel Hex Bolts

We produce DIN933 hexagonal bolts strictly in accordance with the material mechanical properties specified in ISO3506-1 standard. For the A2 grade bolts, we use 304 or 304L. For A4 grade bolts, we use material 316 or 316L. The strength of austenitic stainless steel bolts is achieved through cold extrusion. The most commonly used grades are A2-70, A2-80, A4-70, and A4-80. A2-70 DIN933 hex bolts is made of 304 type stainless steel and is suitable for applications requiring a minimum tensile strength of 700 MPa. If the same A2 material group is used but the connection point is subjected to higher mechanical loads, A2-80 din933 hex bolts can be chosen, with its minimum tensile strength increased to 800 MPa. For connections that require higher resistance to corrosive environments, such as in the food and chemical industries, A4-70 din933 hex bolts typically uses 316 type stainless steel, providing a minimum tensile strength of 700 MPa while having higher corrosion resistance. If a higher mechanical strength is also required, A4-80 din933 hex bolts can be selected, with its minimum tensile strength reaching 800 MPa.

Application of DIN933 Hex Bolt:

DIN 933 hex bolts are widely used for detachable connections in machinery, equipment, steel structures, metal frames, and industrial installations. The fully threaded shank provides continuous thread engagement, making them suitable for assemblies where the available clamping length or threaded connection requires a fully threaded bolt. Carbon and alloy steel versions can be selected for applications requiring higher mechanical strength, while stainless steel DIN 933 bolts are commonly used in outdoor, humid, or corrosive environments. The appropriate material, property class, size, and surface treatment can be selected according to the load, installation conditions, and service environment.
