DIN 975 Threaded Rods
DIN 975 Threaded Rods provide continuous metric threading along the length of the bar, giving installers the flexibility to create fastening points at different positions rather than being limited by a fixed screw head. A threaded rod can be cut to the required length and combined with nuts, washers, couplers, brackets, or other threaded components to create a fastening arrangement suited to the assembly. This makes threaded rod particularly useful when the required connection length is difficult to achieve with standard bolts or when components need to be positioned, suspended, supported, or joined over a longer distance. Instead of selecting a single fixed-length fastener, the rod can be cut and configured according to the installation requirements.
We supply DIN 975 threaded rods in stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel, with different thread sizes, lengths, grades, and surface finishes available. Stainless steel options are suitable for corrosion-sensitive environments, while carbon and alloy steel versions can provide practical solutions for structural and mechanical assemblies.

Specification of DIN975 Threaded Rods:
DIN 975 Threaded Rods are specified mainly by their thread diameter, pitch, length, material, property class, thread tolerance, and surface finish. Because the rod is threaded along its length, both ends can be used with nuts, couplers, washers, or other internally threaded components. DIN 975 is a withdrawn German designation that remains widely used in commercial descriptions of metric fully threaded rods. For new designs, the applicable current standard should be confirmed, including DIN 976-1 where appropriate.

Application of DIN975 Threaded Rod:
Suspended & Supported Assemblies
Threaded rods are widely used to suspend pipes, cable trays, ducts, equipment, brackets, and other components from ceilings, frames, or support structures. Nuts and washers can be positioned along the continuous thread to provide adjustable fixing points.
Structural & Fabricated Frames
DIN 975 threaded rods can be incorporated into steel frames, support structures, fabricated assemblies, equipment bases, and connection systems where a long threaded connection is required rather than a conventional fixed-length bolt.
Machinery & Equipment Installation
Threaded rod is useful for equipment mounting, machine supports, brackets, alignment systems, and adjustable fixtures where components need to be positioned or secured at a particular distance. The continuous thread allows the fastening position to be adjusted with nuts.
Electrical & Mechanical Services
In building-service and industrial installations, threaded rods can be used with pipe clamps, conduit supports, cable tray systems, ventilation equipment, and mechanical service supports where adjustable suspension is required.
