DIN7349 Heavy Duty Flat Washers
DIN 7349 Heavy Duty Flat Washers have a substantially thicker cross-section and larger bearing surface than standard flat washers. This design helps spread the clamping load over a wider area and provides greater support between the fastener and the connected component.
The robust construction makes these washers suitable for heavy clamping applications and assemblies where a standard flat washer may not provide sufficient support. DIN 7349 washers are also commonly used with heavy spring pins according to DIN 1481, where the increased thickness and bearing area provide additional support around the pin connection. Available in carbon steel, spring steel, and stainless steel, with different surface finishes and sizes to suit the load, material, and environmental conditions of the application.

Specification:
DIN 7349 Heavy Duty Flat Washers are manufactured with a thicker section and larger outside diameter than conventional flat washers, providing increased support beneath the fastener or around a spring pin connection. The dimensions are controlled according to DIN 7349, with the exact diameter, thickness, and tolerances depending on the washer size. Carbon steel and spring steel versions can be supplied for general and higher-load applications, while A2 and A4 stainless steel are available where improved corrosion resistance is required. Surface finishes such as plain, black oxide, zinc plated, and other protective coatings can be selected according to the operating environment.

Dimension Chart of DIN7349 Heavy Clamping Sleeves Washers:
DIN 7349 washers use a heavier cross-section than standard flat washers, with the outside diameter and thickness selected according to the corresponding fastener or spring pin size. The dimension chart lists the inside diameter, outside diameter, washer thickness, and other relevant dimensions for each available size. When choosing a washer, check both the fastener diameter and the available bearing surface around the connection. The larger washer section provides additional support where a conventional thin washer may not be sufficient. Exact dimensions and size-specific tolerances are shown in the chart.

Application of DIN7349 Heavy Clamping Sleeves Washers:
Heavy Clamping Connections
The increased thickness of a DIN 7349 washer gives the fastening point a more substantial bearing surface. It can be used beneath bolts, screws, and nuts where the joint requires greater support than a standard flat washer can provide.
Spring Pin Assemblies
DIN 7349 is particularly associated with heavy spring pins according to DIN 1481. The washer provides a solid bearing surface around the pin connection and can help distribute the contact load on the connected component.
Machinery and Equipment
These washers are suitable for machine components, mechanical assemblies, brackets, shafts, fixtures, and industrial equipment, especially where the fastening point is exposed to higher clamping forces or requires a robust washer section.
