DIN2093 Disc Spring Washers SeriesA
DIN 2093 Series A Disc Spring Washers are designed to provide high spring force within a compact installation space. Their conical disc shape allows the spring to deflect under axial load and return toward its original position when the load is released, making them suitable for applications requiring controlled spring force and limited axial movement.
Series A disc springs are characterized by a relatively high load capacity with a comparatively small deflection range, making them suitable for heavily loaded and space-constrained assemblies. The spring force can also be adjusted by using individual springs or stacking multiple disc springs in parallel or series. Manufactured according to DIN 2093 requirements, these disc spring washers are suitable for bolted connections, valves, clutches, brakes, machinery, tooling, and other industrial equipment where controlled axial force, preload, or compensation for thermal expansion and component tolerances is required.

Specification:
DIN 2093 Series A Disc Spring Washers are manufactured to the dimensional, material, and spring-performance requirements of DIN 2093 / DIN EN 16983. Series A has a relatively low free-height-to-thickness ratio of approximately h₀/t = 0.4, providing high spring force with limited deflection. The spring load, dimensions, hardness, tolerances, and heat treatment are controlled to ensure consistent elastic performance.
Our disc springs are available in 65Mn, 51CrV4, and 60Si2Mn spring steels, depending on size, thickness, load requirement, and customer specification. 51CrV4 is a chromium-vanadium spring steel commonly used for DIN EN 16983 disc springs, while 65Mn and 60Si2Mn are also widely used spring-steel options for disc spring production.

Dimension Chart of DIN2093 Disc Spring Washers Series A:
The dimension chart provides the key dimensions required to select DIN 2093 Series A Disc Spring Washers according to the required load, deflection, and installation space. It includes the main dimensional parameters of the disc spring, together with the corresponding spring force and deflection characteristics. The dimensions and tolerances are manufactured according to the applicable standard and customer requirements. Spring height, diameter, thickness, working deflection, and load characteristics should be considered when selecting a disc spring for a specific application. For applications requiring higher load or different working travel, multiple disc springs can also be arranged in suitable stacking configurations.

Application of DIN2093 Disc Spring Washers Series A:
Heavy-Duty Mechanical Assemblies
DIN 2093 Series A Disc Spring Washers are suitable for high-load mechanical assemblies where substantial axial spring force is required within a limited installation space. Their compact conical design provides high load capacity without requiring a long spring length.
Bolted Connections & Preload Control
Disc springs can be installed in bolted connections, clamping systems, and tensioning assemblies to maintain preload and compensate for changes caused by thermal expansion, component tolerances, or settling.
Valves, Pumps & Pressure Equipment
The high spring force of Series A makes these disc springs suitable for valves, pumps, pressure equipment, and mechanical sealing systems, where controlled axial force is required to maintain reliable contact or preload.
Brakes, Clutches & Machinery
They are also used in braking systems, clutches, machine tools, presses, and industrial machinery where a compact spring element is required to generate or maintain axial force.
