ISO7379 Hexagon Socket Shoulder Screws
ISO 7379 shoulder screws are precision-engineered fasteners featuring a cylindrical shoulder, hexagon socket head and threaded end. The accurately controlled shoulder diameter provides a smooth and consistent bearing surface for positioning, pivoting and guiding components, while the socket head allows the screw to be securely tightened with a hex key. Compared with conventional screws, the shoulder design makes ISO 7379 shoulder screws particularly suitable for assemblies where dimensional accuracy, controlled clearance and reliable alignment are important.
We supply ISO 7379 shoulder screws in metric sizes with shoulder diameters from 6.5 to 25 mm, corresponding to thread sizes from M5 to M20. Different shoulder lengths and thread lengths are available according to the selected size, with steel and stainless steel options available for different mechanical and environmental requirements. High-strength steel versions such as property class 12.9 and stainless steel versions can be supplied according to the application and customer specifications.

ISO7379 Hexagon Socket Shoulder Screws:
Machinery & Mechanical Assemblies
ISO 7379 shoulder screws are widely used in machinery and mechanical assemblies where components require accurate positioning, support or controlled movement. The precision-machined shoulder can act as a bearing or pivot surface for levers, brackets, rollers and other moving components, while the threaded end secures the assembly in position.
Jigs, Fixtures & Tooling
The controlled shoulder diameter of ISO 7379 shoulder screws makes them suitable for jigs, fixtures, tooling and precision equipment. They can be used as locating pins, guide points, pivot points and mounting elements where consistent dimensions and repeatable component positioning are important.
Automotive & Industrial Equipment
ISO 7379 shoulder screws can also be used in automotive components, industrial equipment and automated machinery for mounting, guiding and pivoting applications. Stainless steel shoulder screw can be selected for assemblies exposed to moisture or corrosive environments, while high-strength alloy steel shoulder screw are suitable for applications requiring higher mechanical performance.
