ASME B 18.31.5 HR Round Bend J Bolts

ASME B18.31.5-2011 (R2021) covers bent bolts in inch-series dimensions and includes specific requirements for J-Bolts with offset round bends. The standard defines the main dimensions used to specify a J-Bolt, including the nominal diameter (D), length (L), inside bend dimension (C), thread length (T), and additional dimensions such as E, M, and N where applicable. The bend radius (R) for J-Bolts is related to the inside bend dimension and is defined as C/2. J-Bolts can be ordered by the dimensions shown in the standard drawing when a specific standard size is not established.
